Location: Kampala/Arua
Age: 35 Years and Above

Qualifications: Any graduate.
Experience: about 5-10 years as a manager in any industry other than transportation.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To manage daily operational issues of buses.
• To manage a team of drivers, conductors, turmen, loaders, etc.
•  To ensure punctuality in arrivals and departures of buses.
• To track movement of the bus fleet and ensure the Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
•  To attend to calls on enroute breakdowns, accidents and other emergencies and provide necessary assistance.
•  To co-ordinate with workshop for timely repairs and availability of buses.
•  To allocate routes and shifts on directions of GUM/GM
• To compile and generate daily and monthly MIS reports.
•  To ensure discipline and compliance of company policy by team.
•  To address customer complaints and grievances.
• To facilitate inter—department co-ordination for smooth operations
•  To advice and support higher management to improve operations and maintain standards.
• To assist in business promotion activities as and when required.
• To co-ordinate with and maintain good working relationship with government agencies and departments.
