FlexiGiG is a SAAS company. Currently, in East Africa, Flexigig connects clients to the last mile to generate value by offering flexible job opportunities for millions of young Africans. Be it field marketing services, sales, product listing, research, or trade audit; name it, if its at the last mile we make it happen via a great execution team of freelancers.
We have created an exciting and innovative technology platform that seamlessly links trained and well-curated Giggers to specific pieces of client work agreed upon with clients.
We are looking for ambitious and energetic Business Development Managers. Based in the respective countries, their key role is to help us expand our clientele in East Africa.
Position Title: Business Development Managers
Summary:
You are the face of the company to clients, dedicated to solving clients challenges through creating and applying an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.
Your core role will be to acquire and grow the clients value.
The ideal candidate will have a strong business growth or sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for building and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify new business opportunities. Through analyzing new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Leads development and management. Thereafter establishing contacts with the prospective clients, via either face-to-face or through calls.
• Foster and develop relationships with, clients, partners, sponsors, and donors so that you can generate repeat business as well as finding new opportunities.
• Understand the needs and challenges of the clients and respond effectively with a winning strategy to meet these needs.
• Design strategic plans to develop and improve the business and reach new audiences
• Lead on and support bid-writing for new grants and contract opportunities as they arise.
• Great understanding of the business products or services and be an expert adviser on our products.
• Build a strong sales team via training and coaching.
• Propose promotional strategies and activities that will grow the business.
• Be part of making the business better through feedback on processes and best practices.
• Attend networking opportunities to represent and grow the business.
• Keep abreast of trends, new-to-world innovations, and changes in the business world.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in marketing services, client management, and or portfolio management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
• Experience working in a tech-driven environment and familiarity with digital marketing platforms is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
