JOB DETAILS:
The Business Manager is in charge of developing business solutions with the main purpose to generate more revenue for Home Harvest (U) Limited. The role is accountable for working with the agronomy team and the entire staff to increase the demand for especially HH promoted high value products all over the country. The role leads the external business communications.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Business Development
• Seek and develop business relationships that advance Home Harvest’s interests, including through pitches business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients.
• Lead the external business relations and communication engagement that advance the interest of Home Harvest
• Lead the sales and agronomy team to represent Home Harvest at relevant networking events including forums, workshops and exhibitions.
• Participate in the design and conceptualization of market expansion plans and strategies.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with existing and new clients
• Develop ways to improve dealer/farmer experience with Home Harvest including mechanism to strengthen loyalty to Home harvest as their reliable provider for farm inputs
• Supports the Client Relations Coordinator to ensure dealer/client complaints are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
• In liaison with back partners, communicate new products/existing products firstly to staff, ensuring the field teams have a good understanding of the product offered at Home Harvest.
• Team Leadership and Supervision:
• Member of the management team, participating in taking strategic decisions for the smooth running of Home Harvest.
• Promote accountability, communicate expectations and provide constructive feedback for staff directly supervised via regular performance reviews;
• Provide team members in the department with information, tools and other resources to improve performance and reach objectives;
• Contribute to company team-building efforts, help team members identify problem solving options and ensure the integration of all team members into relevant decision-making processes;

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or agri-business with over 5 years experience promoting agriculture production
• Goal-oriented, organized team player
• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
• Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and email
