Job details:
Aga Khan Education Service (AKES) Uganda, seeks a highly experienced and motivated Careers And Guidance Counselor (Ref: I-lRl001/02/17) for the Aga Khan High Schools (international and National Section). The schools offer Key Stage 3, IGCSE, IBDP and Uganda Secondary Curriculum (‘O’ and ‘A’ level) and a broad range ofco-curricular activities.

Qualifications: Education /Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Guidance and Counselling, or any other relevant degree. Post graduate education is an added advantage.
  
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a multicultural school setting.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Proven experience in career guidance and counselling.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with diverse groups of people.

AKES, Uganda also seeks highly experienced, result - oriented and motivated British Curriculum, IGCSE, and IBDP TEACHERS

Academic Background, Experience 8: Personal Specifications: '

• Bachelors Degree in Education, or a specialist subject + PGCE
  
• Excellent writtenl spoken English
  
• Minimum 5 years previous teaching experience in the relevant curriculum
  
• Applicants need to be self-motivated and committed teachers, with a proven strong track-record of academic achievement.
