Position Overview
• We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our small, collaborative team. As our Chef, you will report directly to the Hotel Manager and play a crucial role in creating delightful culinary experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Check the quantity and quality of received products.
• Determine food presentation methods and create decorative food displays.
• Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items based on costs.
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods for regular service and special events.
• Order supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
• Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, or related fields.
• Experience: 2-3 years in a culinary role.
• Certifications: Barista certification is an added advantage.
Required Skills
• Coordination and quality control analysis.
• Active listening and instructing abilities.
• Active learning and adaptability.
• Effective communication skills.
• Judgment and decision-making capabilities.

Salary and Benefits
