Key Responsibilities:

• Head the finance department of the district.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
• Coordinate the preparation of final accounts and audits.
• Supervise staff in the finance department.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• Full professional qualifications (e.g., CPA or ACCA).
• Postgraduate training in Financial Management or Public Administration is desirable.
• At least 6 years of experience in financial management, 3 at senior level.

Job application procedure

2. Applications should be in triplicate on PSC Forms 2008 submitted to the Secretary District Service Commission, P. O. Box 335, Mbale to reach not later than Friday 16-05-2025 at 5.00 PM.
