West Ankole Diocese seeks to recruit a suitable, qualified and born again Christian to work in the child Development Centre — Compassion Assisted Project located at Kigarama C.0.U.

Job Title: Child Development Officer-Health (CDD- Health)
Reports to: PROJECT DIRECTOR

Core duties and responsibilities of CDO —Health:

• Serve as a consistent witness for Jesus Christ like attitude in dealing with children.
• Serve as advocate for children and caregivers.
• Plan and Coordinate healthy screening tor project children
• Coordinate medical care and distribute provisions of identified beneficiaries
•  Make monthly reports in the state of children's heath
•  Work closely with the church in the development of the care ministry
• Plan and coordinate health related training, information, education and communication to the project Management

Knowledge skills and abilities required:

• Must be a mature born again Christian that demonstrates involvement in church Ministry
• Minimum diploma in nursing, primary health care, community health, clinical medicine, education and social work administration
• Must be computer literate
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Good steward of high integrity with ability to design a stimulating environment for children
• Experience and current knowledge on HIV/AIDS intervention child protection and formal training in the counseling and child development will be an added advantage
• Age: 22-40 years
