South Rwenzori Diocese, under its department of children ministry which serves the vulnerable children, to care for, nurture, and develop them to become responsible young talented individuals with Christian values is looking for competent, self-driven motivated persons for the following positions:

Child Development Officer — Health (CDO-H)
Two (2) Positions
Must have at least a Bachelor‘s degree in any of

Job summary: To plan and execute preventive curative health activities that equips assisted chi and caregivers with knowledge on timely etticient h services. Take up tasks related to general health o and handle sensitive health-related issues as we offering minimum counseling to the children.

Job specifications:

•  Must be a mature born-again Christian with a sound testimony.
  
•  Must have a professional background in any of the following: nursing, primary healthcare, community health, clinical medicine, education, social work and administration.
  
•  Minimum qualification will be a diploma or its equivalent.
  
•  Must have good interpersonal skills.
  
•  Experience and current knowledge of HIV/AIDS intervention will be an added advantage.
  
•  Formal training in Counseling and Child Development will be an added advantage. 
• Must have computer skills.
  
•  Must have served as a volunteer in a related Child Development Centre for not less than two (2) years
  
•  Customer service orientation.
  
•  Skills in Project Planning and Management will be an added advantage.
  
•  Age: 30-35. Answerable to the Project Director
