Post Title: Clerk of Works
The Ministry of Education and Sports under the Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers Programme (URGIST) is constructing 117 Seed Secondary Schools in Uganda and SAMSON KALIBBALA KAMYA MEMORIAL SS is the beneficiary from Rakai District.
Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified Ugandans for the post of Clerk of Works to undertake the day to day supervision of the construction works for the duration of the civil works implementation to ensure that there is value tor money at the site.
Terms of appointment: Contract
Duration of Contract: 2 years renewable
Salary: UG Shs1,000,000 (fixed)p.m.

Site: Samson Kalibbala Kamya Memorial SS (Lwamaggwa SS).

  Personal Specifications:
• Ordinary Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution with at least 5 years’ experience of which 3 (three) years is in construction supervision of similar structure OR Advanced Certificate in construction with experience of over 10 years.
• Computer skills in MS-Word, MS-Excel and Internet applications are essential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills is a requirement.
• Knowledge of the local languages in the District will be an added advantage.
