Role overview
The consultant will be expected to carry out a study capturing VSO's current and previous experience of strengthening resilience within health systems and communities.
Ideal Applicant Summary
We are looking for a qualified Climate Change and Resilience Specialist with a strong demonstrated expertise in qualitative research, health systems and policy analysis.
The ideal consultant should have at least 10 years' experience working in DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction), emergencies, climate and/or resilience programming. In addition, the consultant should have significant experience of applying climate change and resilience programming to strengthen health systems, experience of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis as well as experience working with International INGOs (International Non-Governmental Organisations).
