JOB DETAILS:
Position: Clinical Officer
Numbers of vacancies: 01 position
Duty Station: Kworo Medical Centre and Maternity Care, Pader
Reporting line: Medical Officer
Contract Duration: 01Year Renewable

Person Specifications;
Qualifications
• The applicant for the Clinical officer role should hold a minimum of a Diploma in Clinical medicine and community health from a reputable training institution.
• Must have a valid practicing license from Allied Health Professionals council
• At least two years' experience in clinical medicine preferably Pediatric.

Key Roles and Responsibility;
• To provide clinical assessments and evaluation of health or illnesses the clients and give proper individualized care and treatment in line with the existing standard operating procedure.
• To monitor drug reactions, disease progression and provide appropriate management including referral of complicated cases.
• To manage the day-to-day running of the clinic in conjunction with the In-charge and other departments.
• To participate in all health promotion programs including health education, Outreaches, immunization and Delivery.
• Support in medical orders within expected time-frames and maintain clear accountability for the prescribed and dispensed drugs.
• To participate in the development of a framework by which standardization of care is achieved in the clinic and community settings.
• To maintain accurate reporting records in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.
• To support in the teaching and training of staff in other departments on various aspects of health as organized by Te-Kworo Foundation Limited Health Program.
• Refer complicated cases to the Medical Officer.
• Liaise with other cadres in the Unit in the delivery of quality health care to patients.
• Participate in the implementation of primary health care activities.
• Participate in research and proposal writing for Health related activities.
• Participate in the collection of health data.
• Participate in teaching staff, patients and the public.
• Promote the observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics
• Compile and submit periodic reports.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

• Sees oneself as a representative of the Organization and acts in a way that markets/promotes the organization.
