Standard Invitation to Bidders
BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN SIDDING

REF: MEM/WRKS (2024-2025)/00049 EASP

  1. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development under the Electricity Scale-up Project has allocated funds to be used for the Construction of Improved Energy Supply Wood stovens systems in selected institutions.
  2. The Entity invites sealed data from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
  3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2020 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and a open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the binding document at the address given below at $(a) from 09:00am to 07:00pm and 02:00pm – 5:00pm.
  5. The binding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at $(b) upon payment of a non- refunded fee of Uganda Shilling One Hundred thousand (UGX : 100,000). The method of payment will be by Bank payment advice forms advised by bidders or their authorized representatives and
    obtaining a General Reception from the Cash Office. The document will be picked by the Bidder's authorized representatives. No liability will be accepted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development for loss of late delivery.
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (a) are to be too far July, 2025 at 11:00am.
  7. All bids must be accompanied to bid security declaration. Bid Securing Declaration must be valid until 07th April, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected.
  8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder if representative who choose to attend
    at the address below at $(d) at 31rd July, 2025 at 11:30am.
  9. From shall be a pre-bid meeting on 14th July, 2025 at 11:00am.
  10. Bidders should note the following:
