Job Description
This is a remote position.

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking for one proactive and responsible consultant with high level of commitment and expertise who can help analyze priority sections of the data and support the team in generating robust analysis and visuals towards publication in peer reviewed journal articles.

The selected people will be part of a database of professionals who will be hired at different times of the year, according to the demand for work.

Objectives:
• Database restructuring as needed
• Conduct statistical analysis as agreed with the team
• Generate graphs, tables, and visuals to best represent results
• Contribute to science article development

Duties and Deliverables:
• REPORT 1: Analysis of agrobiodiversity study seed systems sections
• REPORT 2: Analysis of agrobiodiversity study landuse, crop portfolio and diversity assessment
• REPORT 3: Analysis of landrace diversity timeline comparison: support temporal data assessment at different scales / with different sources.

Requirements
• MSc. Or PhD in Statistician, data analyst or related.
• Specialization in data science, statistic, or mathematics.
• Experience in management of free code R programming, Python, and script development
• Eight years of professional experience in similar functions
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Solid organizational skill of teamwork, planning and organization, communications, and initiative.

Benefits
• This consultancy contract is for 5 months within the calendar year.
• The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
