The Company seeks to hire a Crane Operator responsible for executing work orders
planned by the Field Supervisor in carrying out Proactive, Preventive and Corrective
maintenance.

JOB DETAILS
Job Title: Crane Operator
Job location: Bulisa, Uganda

Job Purpose: Ensure smooth flow of all field operations and seamless service
delivery to the clients. Be a key communication vocal point between the field and the
main office.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Responsibilities
1. Ensure that resources assigned to the Project are used properly and maintained
2. in their best condition.
3. Immediately informs site supervisor of any problems, necessary maintenance, or
4. necessary repairs to an equipment both verbally and in writing, in the vehicle/
5. Equipment daily check list
6. Effective Use of Assigned Equipment/ Vehicle to minimise Wear & Tear and
7. Efficient Fuel Use.
8. Safe keeping of All Equipment items and Accessories.
9. Assist Site Supervisor in the planning and Effective Project Execution and Delivery.
10. Organisation Continuous Improvement, learning and growth Responsibilities
11. Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed as per procedure and Work
12. instruction.
13. Completes all data entry requirements as requested by site supervisor i.e.
14. fuelling, mileage recording and signing of the gate passes and check lists
15. Suggest innovation in operations with at least one innovation process per year.
16. Ensure Continual improvement of assigned tasks based on performance review
17. by the Coordinator
18. Meeting Customer Requirements and satisfaction.
19. Meet Customer set Objectives, Targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
20. Propose Ways to enhance Customer satisfaction and Services done to
21. Customer.

Internal Business Processes.
1. Maintain Safe operations by Following Safety Procedures and Works
2. instructions.
3. Execute Stop work authority when any task is deemed unsafe or unfit to
4. execute task.
5. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Field Supervisor.

Qualifications
1. Valid driver’s license class BCE& I
2. High School Diploma, Relevant Training Certifications, Equipment Certification
3. Post High school Relevant Certification.
4. Relevant Training Certification ISO BS 15513
5. Be medically fit to operate an equipment
6. Must have a valid fitness to work certificate
7. Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili
8. Must be a Ugandan citizen
Experience
1. Experience in Safe operation of Relevant equipment /Vehicles.
2. At least 7 years in Operation of Vehicle.

Skills
1. Original Equipment Manufacturing Training of Equipment to be operated.
2. Good Understanding of Best HSE practices, Situation awareness and Risk
3. assessment.
4. Defensive Driving Training and Skills.
5. Good communication skills with relevant stakeholders.
6. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
7. Accountability and high level of integrity
8. Attention to details
9. Be flexible and ready to work long hours
10. Demonstrate sound work ethics and be a team player
