JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the position:
The primary role of the customer solutions officer is to provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers of VFU. The job holder of this role represents the face of VFU, so he/she should ensure that he/she makes a good first impression to all visitors of VFU.
Other roles
• Sells effectively the VFU solutions to new and existing clients visiting the office.
• Receive customer complaints and advises respective heads of departments on how to address those challenges.
• Follow up on customer complaints and ensure issue closure within the shortest time possible.
• Ensures a clean, tidy and favorable environment at the reception.
• Should be in charge of staff welfare across VFU branches, as well as welfare for other staff like the security guards and provide weekly reports to HR & Admin Manager on issues concerning staff.
• Coordinates all staff events.
• Maintains a visitors log and customer complaints log.
• Assigns schedules and tasks to temporary support staff (Cleaners, security guards and drivers), and allocate or direct them on their daily responsibilities to different departments. He/she meets with them regularly to find out their issues and how to solve them.
• Maintain collaborative & productive working relationship with partners and internal customers.
• Verifies administrative invoices to ensure value for money aspect is achieved.
• Ensure timely payment of VFU service providers.
• Support operations department to enhance business growth.
• Support HR department in driving a performance culture.
• Participate in virtual meetings and trainings.
• Coordinate trainings and on boarding process.
• Manage staff database on a monthly basis.
• Maintain timely accountabilities.

A University degree/Diploma from a reputable university
