About this Job
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Data Enumerators for one of our clients to work in the central and western regions of Uganda.

Primary function:
The main purpose of this position is to support the quality, timely implementation of community services project activities.

Responsibilities
• Data enumeration/collection using a tablet in a (SMART manner) as a primary duty.
• Proper utilization and check-up of the digital questionnaire tool/guide in accordance with NRC’s established M&E guidelines
• Reporting any data collection challenges and matters to the immediate supervisor as soon as possible.
• Assist in the sensitization of the community for a particular activity.
• Maintain confidentiality of information collected.
• Abide by NRC’s code of conduct.

Mandatory Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of UCE, Certificate in ICT, Development studies, Management Information systems, Secretarial studies, and other related fields. Additionally, an A’ level certificate.
• At least experience of more than 2 years in data collection.
• Knowledge of the local language of urban or Settlement refugees and host Community is A MUST

Knowledge, skills and competencies
• Ability to interpret, translate the questionnaire into local language.
• Knowledge of basic computer application and usage and knowledge on use of mobile data collection tools
• Previous work in a host and refugee setting is desirable.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions through the supervisor.
• Extremely flexible with the ability to cope with stressful situations.
• Excellent reporting skills with good oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated experience and/or personal commitment to promoting gender equality within the work

Added Advantage
• Experience in data collection using tablets on beneficiary profiling will be considered.
