We seek to recruit the following positions
Deputy Project Manager
To serve as a Finance Manager and actively contribute to program planning and implementation, monitoring of deliverables and the development of financial/budgeting strategies. The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager and the broader Sayana Press team, and will help ensure that project activities meet donor expectations and are aligned to PATH standards. This position is based in Kampala.
Financial Management:
Master project budgets with a focus on Uganda country expenses and projected timeline of spending.
Develop, monitor, and manage ongoing project spending plans and forecasts; reconcile forecasted and actual spending on a regular basis; alert relevant leadership parties to potential financial challenges, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Provide review and approval of budgets for team activities.
Monitor and track financial reports of sub awardee partners and effect quality control measures as needed.
Administrative Leadership:
Lead the sub-award development process (including sub agreements, consulting agreements and purchase orders) and ensure accountability by sub-awardees so that deliverables are met.
Serve as administrative liaison for the project to ensure activities are compliant with US, Uganda and donor regulations. Comfortable taking direction from leadership while proactively moving work forward and providing direction and supervision to other employees/team members as appropriate
