Job details:
Our client, a long in existence (0 & A-level) secondary school in central Uganda seeks to recruit key staff to fill the following positions: School Principal, Deputy School Principal and Director of Studies. Huram Solutions hereby invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions.

Title: Deputy School Principal
Reports To: The Principal
Duration: 2-year renewable

Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the job role is to support school programs ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in implementation of established procedures so as to achieve the highest possible outcomes within the school and in order to maximize positive impact on all stakeholder including parents teachers and the board.

Minimum Requirements:
A University Degree in Education or a related discipline. 5 years’ work experience in a related function and at least 2 years at managerial level. The ideal candidate should have management experience; team management; ability to communicate effectively to stimulate participation; strong interpersonal skills; results-driven, value participation; ability to work independently and take initiative; good reporting skills in English and fluency in diverse local languages.
