Mission Description
Ensure the development of supporting tools and strategies for Medical Supply Chain stakeholders in close collaboration with the Front Office and the Health Services. This mainly includes maintaining, updating and identifying the OCG Supply Chain guidelines and SOP's, but as well taking part of intersection initiatives and training strategies.
Responsibilities
The role involves analyzing, simplifying, and sharing internal processes, as well as adapting standard operating procedures to field operations in close collaboration with the Health Service. It includes establishing, improving, and maintaining standard report formats for various purposes (projects, missions, field visits, HQ), and updating OCG supply guidelines while standardizing those for missions. Rationalizing existing tools and updating user manuals are also part of the responsibilities. Close cooperation with the Health Service on medical supply chain projects (eg, Med Order, reporting tools) is expected, as well as maintaining and developing related documentation for the supply chain.
The role also supports supply chain stakeholders in implementing MSF Switzerland supply standards and provides backup for the Supply Referent for intersection platforms. In terms of human resources, the role involves contributing to the creation and delivery of supply training modules and participating in recruitment for secondment and international positions. Additionally, the role includes representing the Supply Chain Unit in OCG studies, working groups, and platforms, as well as conducting field visits for on-site training, coaching, assessments, and project monitoring.
Your profile
Essential
- Fluent in French & English
- More than 2 years MSF field experience in medical stock management and supply management or supervisory position
- Pharmacy/Medical degree or specialization in Medical Supply Chain.
- Advanced knowledge of MSF Supply Chain
- Advanced knowledge of Medical Item management (Good Storage and Distribution Practices)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Sensitivity to software (Microsoft powerBI...)
- Attention to detail, strong analysis and synthesis
- Strong organizational skills
- Cross-functional oriented
- Very good communication skills
- Capacity to work independently, initiative
- Capacity of innovation
- Team spirit
Considered as assets
- University degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification/certification an advantage
- Spanish and Arabic knowledge
