The Electoral Commission intends to sell the above mentioned Boarded off assets by public auction. The Boarded off assets are sold on "as is, where is" basis and the entity will have no further liability after the sale.
The Public Auction shall be conducted in accordance with the disposal procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003 (as amended) and Regulations of 2014.
The auction will be conducted by West Brook Associates on behalf of the Electoral Commission on SATURDAY, 19th AUGUST 2023 starting at 9.00AM at the Electoral Commission Warehouse Kyambogo.
West Brook Associates invites interested bidders to the viewing of the items for disposal which will take place on Thursday 10th August, 2023 and Friday 11th August 2023 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Electoral Commission Warehouse Kyambogo.
All Bidders shall be required to pay a non-refundable fee of One hundred thousand only (UG. SHS100,000) and obtain a bank receipt which will enable them to participate in the Auction Exercise.
The method of payment will be by Bank and deposited in Diamond Trust Bank.
Payment shall be at least 50% cash at the fall of the hammer to the Auctioneer, and failure to do that, the offer will be given to the second highest bidder (if he/she is above the reserve price). The successful bidder shall within five (5) working days from the date of the Public Auction, pay the balance of the contract price to the Auctioneer on behalf of Electoral Commission.
