JOB DETAILS:
To support the Monitoring and Evaluation Function of the DREAMS & OVC program in the district by overseeing data collection and reporting for the program as guided by PEPFAR. The district data officer will work with the District technical officer to ensure that clean and complete DREAMS/OVC data is collected, properly captured, and reported in a timely manner. Position: 2
Duty Station: Sembabule & Kalangala .
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor DREAMS and OVC progress to target by program/thematic area for the district.
• Train data entrants in entering data in the UDOTS.
• Oversee case file management and documentation in the district.
• Oversee data entry into the UDOTS and OVCMIS in the district
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge And Experience :
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, ICT, quantitative economics, population studies, or any other related field including training in health-related courses. Experience with DREAMS & OVC programming is an added advantage.
• Experience in health management information systems (HMIS, UDOTS, OVCMIS, HIBRID). Computer is STATA, SPSS, MS excel and MS access.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a rural and multi-cultural environment especially at sub county level.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle.
