JOB DETAILS:
Duty Station: Kampala
Remuneration: T4 according to Tamani Scale Contract
Type: Renewable
Contract Period: 3 Years
Reports to: Director of Operations
Role:
Design, develop and implement effective ecology impact assessment projects and activities for ecology sensitive areas to achieve effective Biodiversity conservation.
Duties
1. Design, develop and implementation an effective business models for environmental impact assessment business to target entities.
2. Design and develop standardization procedures and protocols for the company’s EIA projects that are acceptable locally, regional and international standards
3. Manage an effective and secure information Bank for previous EIA projects
4. Design and implement an authoritative information dissemination platform for ecological impact assessment.
5. Advocate for biodiversity rights as result of biodiversity abuses realized by undertaking EIA projects
6. Create effective collaborations on regional ideas and international levels that foster improvement of the company’s EIA projects.
7. Conduct strategic and effective press releases on particular EIA projects and findings
8. Design, develop and implement fresh EIA techniques for improvement of EIA activities
9. Push for adoption of New EIA techniques in the industry of Biodiversity conservation
10. Identity new equipment and techniques for use in the company’s EIA undertaking
Qualifications
1. A minimum of a degree in Environmental science.
2. Three years of working experience in field of wildlife and tourism.
3. Demonstrable research skills such as data analytics, statistics, or survey design.
4. Impeccable writing and organizational skills.
5. Team-working and communication skills.
6. Computer skills
