Electrical Engineer

Job description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing and commissioning electrical, electronic and telecommunication equipment/works during company projects. He / She will ensure that the relevant installations comply with engineering specifications and client requirements

Roles and Responsibilities
• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems during company projects
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining electrical equipment.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Skills and experience
• Five (5) years of experience in building electrical system engineering on major projects
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with project management tools and systems
• Experience designing with Auto Cad.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
