JOB DETAILS:
City Ambulance is a highly specialized Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider that offers prompt, professional and affordable, basic and advanced life support services. First incorporated in Uganda in 2012, the City Ambulance brand has expanded across the East African region with presence in Uganda and Tanzania. City Ambulance is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following jobs.

1. Emergency Physician / Intensivist

Qualifications and Skills
01. Registered medical doctor (MBChB) in country of practice.
02. Minimum 3 years practice as a confirmed Emergency Physician or an Intensivist / experience on remote sites/ MEDEVAC skills.
03. Experienced in pre-hospital care and ICU.
04. ATLS/ACLS/PHTLS qualification.
05. 05.Other international emergency skills qualifications (e.g CAMU / Anesthesiology / Disaster medicine/
06. international Emergeltrasound qualification). qualification
07. Occupational health and experience or work-related injuries in Oil & Gas environment. 07. Good communication skills (fluent in English is a minimum).
08. Good leadership skill and team management skill.
09. Adaptable, flexible, and mature in judgement.
10. Good assessment, analytical, planning and reporting skills.
11. Qualification in management (IT/ dashboard / excel/ word / team management).
a) e of leading remote clinic and prehospital care are essential.
b) the doctor shall possess the following Tier 2 and 3 technical knowledge skills
c) Airway management (Rapid sequence intubation / Chest tube management) plus the ventilation and the anesthesia.
d) c. Managing Myocardial Infarction (including fibrinolytic) / Stroke / Crush syndrome/septicemia or severe infections / arrhythmias, severe bleeding and polytraumas, severe allergy.
e) d. Lab tests.
f) e. Air medevac skills (conditioning before the flight).
g) f. Minor surgery skills.
