Job Description
• Responsible for preparation & maintenance of the planning deliverables with involvement of Engineering disciplines. Identify deviations to contractual plan and suggest corrective actions, in liaison with Project Engineers and Disciplines.
• Project Manager will be responsible for Checking, Approval and Distribution of the planning deliverables with involvement of Lead Project Control Engineer and other required Engineering disciplines.
• Project schedule and control documents will be designed with the use of computerized software to build up extensive flexibilities for comprehensive periodic analysis to predict accurately in advance the corrective actions needed for smooth and timely execution of the project.
• Computerized project management tools such as Primavera Project Planner (P6) and JANUS will be used extensively for designing detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in a hierarchical manner in the beginning of the project. Control Schedule (Baseline Schedule) and Working Schedules will be developed in line with WBS.
• Planning & scheduling integrates each item of work in the schedule with logical sequence which form the basis for tracking the commitment windows for all main performers in the project execution.
• Monitoring is not only comparing the actual plan but also trend analysis.
• Other key documents and activities involves in the Planning and Scheduling System:
• Establishment of Project Calendar and Work Break Down Structure (WBS).
• Establishment of project specific Planning and Scheduling Procedure, Progress Measurement Procedure, and Progress Reporting formats.
• Preparation of EPC Implementation schedule, performing Project Risk assessment on EPC and preventive measure.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the schedules, assessing the physical progress, analyzing data, performing trend analysis, comparing progress with contractual schedule, suggesting corrective actions, when necessary and preparing report documents.
• Preparation and management of overview and strategic programs, including procurement and construction schedules together with supporting information
• Early flagging of potential risk, and suggest a corrective action for slippage (if any).
• Prepare detailed analysis of the project critical paths, highlights to the project team and investigate corrective action to ensure on time delivery
• Establish project reporting procedures, prepare and present monthly project progress to client
• Analyze schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to top management.
• Monitor engineering design, material and equipment procurement and construction and commissioning status and release of milestone related progress information, identify deviations and suggest possible measures.
• Provide planning and scheduling input to cost team for cost forecasting, for reporting reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc., as well as periodic presentations to all parties involved
• Coordinate with other department and team members and prepare schedule forecasts
• Analyze potential impact of proposed changes and re-baseline the schedules to incorporate approved changes.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Oil & Gas Engineering
• At Least 15 years experience in Oil and Gas engineering
