An international leading Solar Energy Provider in Uganda operating in Western Uganda in the districts of Mbarara, lbanda, Kiruhura, Bushenyi, Sheema, Ntungamo, Rubirizi, lsingiro, Mitooma, lbanda, Kyegegwa, Sembabule and Buhweju. ls looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Position: Energy Store Manager
Reports to: sales and Marketing Manager.

The person: should be mature (30 years and above), Ateam leader, goal-driven, result-oriented individual ’ with ability to work under pressure and meet targets. He/she should exhibit good communication skills and have the ability to deliver sales, be able to speak local languages, and able work in a rural setting under s minimum supervision.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• To mobilize and sensitize potential clients Assess the credibility of the clients and to monitor the payment rate
• To plan, budget and monitor the performance of the energy store in relation to the targets
• Analyze, compile and submit reports as per the reporting standards.
• To supervise the team at the energy store
•  To prepare client service contracts and other documentation for installation solar home systems

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree/diploma from a recognized institution in Electrical Engineering
•  At least 2-3 years working experience in middle management position.
• Knowledge of credit sales management is a key i attribute _ ‘
• Specialized training in Solar Electricity is an added advantage.

• Excellent in sales, marketing and mobilization skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams
• Excellent in management and leadership skills
• Ability to give appropriate guidance and feedback to clients
• Ability to negotiate and sell solar Home systems
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets with minimum supervision ‘
• Flexibility and ability to work in rural settings
