Job Summary: Street Child is seeking detail-oriented individuals to collect data across its different programmes. The Enumerator will be responsible for administering and entering all programme’s related baseline, midterm and end line survey starting from data collection and data entry. Enumerators will work in the field under the guidance and supervision of the Research analyst.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct data collection activities in assigned schools, including administering surveys, assessments, and observations.
• Ensure accurate and ethical data collection, adhering to Street Child’s Safeguarding Policy.
• Collaborate effectively with the programme team and provide regular progress updates.
• Report any safeguarding concerns or challenges faced during data collection.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Education, Social Sciences, etc.).
• Adept at using computers and mobile devices for entering and/or uploading data in an efficient manner.
• Must have sat university 1-2 years ago and have experience in data collection or research, preferably in the education sector.
• A resident within the preferred district
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and local language (Kiryandongo—Luo, Juba Arabic; Palabek—Acholi, Juba Arabic; Kyaka II—Swahili; Kyangwali—Swahili)
