JOB DETAILS:
GRADUATE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (GRE)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill vacant posts currently available in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Applications should be filled ON-LINE not later than 13th March 2023.

Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Environment Management; or Environmental Science; or Environmental Engineering; or Conservation Biology from a recognized University /Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Environment Officer for performing the following duties:-
• Participating in the inspection activities in the Ministry for compliance with relevant laws, policies, standards and regulations relating to environment;
• Participating in environmental impact studies of projects and ensuring compliance with national laws, policies and international best practices;
• Participating in the procurement processes for conducting of environmental impact studies;
• Participating in continuous monitoring of environmental management issues in the projects and programmes;
• Collecting data for the preparation of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials for sensitization of the Ministry Staff and communities;
• Collecting data for the preparation of the environment activity reports for submission to management and Development Partners;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
