RCS is recruiting for their client.

Job Summary: The Field Manager should be a Certified Seed Inspector and able to integrate into the existing leadership team and deliver results in a multicultural environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the Seed Inspectors and what they inspect – preparation of detailed workplans and travel logistics/cash flow projections to ensure adequate allocation of human, financial and physical resources to complete all tasks on time.
• Be proactive in relationships with partners
• Manage customer satisfaction, and ensure timely and diplomatic communication with seed companies to optimise successful remedial action to address any difficulties.
• Ensure that the information the company gathers is correct and appropriately managed
• Maintain up to date planting returns for each company
• Ensure that the CEO of each company has a monthly report of red flagged (rejected)fields
• Evaluate the capabilities and capacity of the inspection department staff
• Mentor existing inspection department staff to build their capacity and expertise so asto make the most of their abilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a BSc in agriculture,
• Master’s degree an advantage,
• MUST be a Certified Seed Inspector.
•  At least five years of seed inspection experience
• One year of experience supervision of seed inspectors
• Driving permit essential
