Trocaire is the overseas development agency of the Irish Catholic Church. We are a partnership agency with a focus on Food and Resource Rights, Women's Empowerment and Humanitarian response. Trocaire Uganda is currently recruiting for three positions viz,

Finance and Administration Director, Kampala — reporting to Country Director Uganda (Ref: TRO UGA-003)
2-Year renewable Kampala, Uganda with frequent travel to Acholi/Teso, East Africa and some international travel.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Country Strategic Management
  
• Financial Controls & Reporting
  
• Budgeting and Financial Management
  
• Institutional funding
  
• Finance and Governance in Partner Organisations
  
• Human Resource, Administration and staff managementfcapacity building
  

Experience and Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance as a minimum in addition to professional accountancy qualifications e.g. CPA , ACCA or CIMA
  
• Minimum of five year’s professional experience in a finance role including 3 years in managerial role.
  
• Experience of managing the finances for large grants or country office including the preparation of budgets and the reviewing and preparation of financial reports.
  
• Experience of working in a supervisory role or in a technical advisory capacity.
  
• Experience of Human Resource Management including the development of HR policies
