Uganda Technical College Lira is a public tertiary Institution offering training in engineering related trades. With the support from the World Bank, the College is implementing a project titled “Uganda Skills Development Project that will lay a foundation for the College to transform into a “Centre of Excellence” in Road Construction and Highway Engineering . FLUID MECHANICS LABORATORY TECHNICIAN,

Duties
• To keep custody of laboratory equipment, tools and materials.
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the laboratory and operations
• Prepare laboratory practical training materials, equipment/ operations and tools.
• Prepare and conduct laboratory training practical lessons.
• Support the lecturers to conduct continuous assessment.
• Perform any other official duties assigned by relevant authorities.
Person specifications
• An Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• At least 2 years related industrial experience in Automobile Maintenance
• Possession of a higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is of added advantage

Box 4, Lira to be received not later than 1st March 2019. The application forms can be accessed from the Education Service Commission website on www.esc.go.ug and District Service Commission Offices. Applications should bear the title of the post.
