Role Overview

We are looking for a Full stack Developer Intern to join our tech team in Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and curious individual eager to grow in both frontend and backend development within a fast-paced, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in building, testing, and maintaining Dafric’s logistics platforms and internal tools
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and improve existing ones
  • Write clean, maintainable code for both frontend and backend systems
  • Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and documenting issues
  • Participate in team discussions and sprint reviews
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvement based on user feedback

Preferred Tech Stack

  • Front end: Vue.js, TailwindCSS
  • Back end: Laravel, NodeJS
  • APIs: REST, GraphQL

Qualifications & Skills

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience (academic or personal projects) with both frontend and backend development
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals and modern development frameworks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Self-driven, curious, and open to learning in a fast-moving environment
  • Preferred: Must be a Ugandan citizen
