JOB DETAILS:
As Grants Officer, you will support with the grant management and grant finance for PEAS' major grants, which are essential to the success of PEAS. You will work closely with colleagues across our three offices to build their capacity in effective grant management and will use your technical skills to develop new tools to make managing grants at PEAS more efficient. You will also work with Business Development to identify new institutional grant opportunities and support with developing quality proposals, to win the funding needed to make our exciting strategy a reality.
This is an exciting role for a driven individual who has experience in financial management and accounting, and who is looking for a dynamic role where they can get more hands-on with supporting programme delivery.
At PEAS, our colleagues are ego-less, prepared to be get involved in a broad range of activities across the organisation. This role will be challenging, so you must be resilient and adaptable. When something doesn’t improve or change immediately, you must remain energised, find ways to learn from mistakes, ensuring that we find a way forward in the end. For the right individual, this challenge will be exciting as you develop a range of experience and skills to make our ambitious strategy a reality.
This role can be located across any of our three country offices – UK, Uganda or Zambia. The selected candidate should have an existing right to work in their country. We would welcome applications from those who have experience in the NGO sector, as well as those who have experience in the corporate sector and who are looking for a meaningful career change.
