JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
The Graphic Design Intern will support our team on a variety of creative projects working to prevent violence against women and children.

Role Description
This position can be full or part-time, based in Kampala or working remotely. Length of time for the internship is between 3 and 8 months. The Graphic Design Intern will:
• Develop design concepts for print and electronic publications.
• Complete the lay out and formatting of print and electronic publications.
• Develop tiles for social media.
• Produce design templates for PPTs.
• Strengthen the visual identity of Raising Voices through contributing to strategic discussions and organizational strategy.

Qualifications & Experience
• BA in graphic design.
• Experience working on social justice issues, feminism, children’s rights a plus.

Competencies/Skills
• Able to work in English.
• A very keen eye for attention to detail.
• Interest in working with a diverse team.
• Open and direct communication, willing to take feedback and work collaboratively.
• Competent in using Photoshop, Adobe Design Suite
• Knowledge of Word Press a plus
