JOB DETAILS:
JOB TITLE: Graphics Editor
LINE MANAGER: Station Manager
REPORTS TO: Production Director
SUPPORT STRUCTURE: Human Resource Officer
STATION: Gugudde T.V
WORKING HOURS: A maximum of 48 hours a week, normally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

NOTE: All staff may be expected to work extra hours at times, in evenings, week- ends, or public holidays depending on station events; Staff are entitled and encouraged to take adequate time off in lieu when this occurs.

JOB PURPOSE
To create eye-catching visuals for print and digital channels to communicate the Station’s brand.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
2. Creating and editing graphics, videos, and other visual content for various platforms and purposes
3. Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and develop interactive designs.
4. Study design briefs and determine requirements.
5. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
6. Working with the graphic design team and co-workers to ensure a user-friendly and engaging experience.
7. Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software.
8. Work with copywriters and the creative section to produce the final design.
9. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic as per the Brand Manual.
10. Test graphics across various media and amend designs after feedback.
11. Managing multiple projects and deadlines according to the production process with quality standards.
12. Applying technical procedures and editing software to produce and conform content.
13. Keeping track of the latest trends and best practices in design and user interface and applying them on all Television properties.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Proven graphic designing experience.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Media Encoder)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• B.A. (Graphics design) or its equivalent
• Certificate in Computer Skills

SOFT SKILLS
• Excellent communication skills
• Image editing skills
• Creativity and innovation
• Graphic design skills

PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Must be born again
• Must belong to a cell with a recommendation letter from the zone leader
• Must be male
• Age (25-35 years)
