JOB DETAILS:
Core Responsibility:
Provide leadership for effective financial management aligned with the business strategy.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
1. Provide financial expertise to the CEO and Finance Committee regarding the organization's financial position and cash flow monitoring.
2. Ensure financial and administrative systems function in line with company policies.
3. Oversee budgets, projections, and financial reporting to stakeholders.
4. Manage strategic finance department functions for compliance and efficiency.
5. Liaise with external parties on financial matters.
Administration (Transport & Estates Operations):
1. Oversee administrative functions and facilities to ensure efficiency.
2. Ensure effective integration of all technical and administrative services.
3. Manage BLB assets and administrative systems.
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
2. Master's degree with a major in Accounting/Finance is an added advantage.
3. Membership to professional accounting bodies such as ACCA or CPA.
4. Certification in IT-related courses is an added advantage.
5. At least 5 years of experience managing similar responsibilities.
