Post: Hotel Manager
Role:
To oversee daily operations of a new 25 room hotel, provide strategic direction, plan and supervise staff activities and ensure profit growth. You will be involved in all aspects of hotel operations oversee customer service, prepare reports and do marketing to get new business. The ideal candidate must have a good attitude and be adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Putting in place operating systems, procedures and controls in addition to Planning, organization and supervision of all hotel services including accommodation, housekeeping, catering, restaurant banqueting and conferencing as well as any other hotel services
• Promoting and Marketing the Hotel to get new business
• Managing budgets and financial plans as well as preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Controlling expenditure and implementing cost saving measures across all expense lines of the hotel
• Front office management as well as meeting and greeting customers in addition to handling customer complaints
• Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service to every hotel guest.
• Ensuring compliance to all laws, health and safety and hotel standards
• Human resource performance management

Required Skills and Competencies

•  Degree/ Higher Diploma in Tourism, Hotel Management, H0spitality,'Business Administration or a related field. Additional professional qualifications and training will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as pan of a team
• At least 5 years’ experience in the Hotel business
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, power point etc
• Clean driving license will be an added advantage.
• Age. 28 to 40 years
