JOB TITLE :Human resource officer

JOB SUMMARY:

To collaboratively work with the Human Resources Manager, by sewing as the human resources liaison to departmental managers and staff by providing HR practical solutions, overseeing the provision of staff support services such as Human Resource Administration, Resourcing, Training and development, Recruitment and selection of employees.

The specific tasks will include;

• To support the HR function by maintaining accurate and up to date records to enable effective reporting and decision making
  
• To ensure a timely and accurate processing of payroll data to help the team provide a proactive and efficient payroll service
  
• To manage and coordinate welfare activities in a way that supports staff physical and emotional wellbeing
  
• To support in the development and implementation of CARE Uganda's learning and Development strategy
  
• To ensure that CARE Uganda is provided with appropriate numbers of adequately qualified and competent staff
  
• Work with the Human Resources Manager to ensure that CARE Uganda is implementing a performance management system that enhances the performance and motivation of Care Uganda employees
