JOB DETAILS:
1.Job Title : Humanitarian and Social Movement Inspirator
Reports to : Field Program Coordinator with Matrix reporting to the Project coordinator - SPAII
Responsible for : None

Location : Imvepi
Job Role: To support young women, young people, communities and their organizations at local and national level to build resilience, engage public officials and instructions to respect civil liberties and be accountable for provision of quality an timely social services .
Key Result Areas/Job Description:
• Support AAU partners, local leaders, and refugee leaders to design a basic operational Gender analysis and consideration frameworks to track how gender is addressed and the systemic and structural changes happening.
• Assist project managers at partner and AAU levels to Provide technical and strategic guidance, networking, and capacity development to social movements to take key actions- expanding on local and global linkages.
• Support integration of the concept of GRPS into the work of social Accountability with Activtas and refugees linking it to social movements of Women rights and Youth work done by AAU.
• Support partners and participants in the uptake of skills and application after GP training of young people and trainers on GPRS and engagement.
• Support young people and social movement structures in the process of documenting evidence to influence change.
• Support and train different community groups on the basics of Leadership, advocacy, communication, and campaign to inspire social change in behaviors, practices and policies.
Person Specifications
Qualifications:
University Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or equivalent from a recognized institution; a post graduate qualification in any of the above disciplines will be an added advantage.
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience from a recognized institution, preferably an NGO.
Competencies:
Experience in conducting digital campaigns, preferably in a development context, Knowledge of and experience in developing effective campaigns, Experience working with Youth and women groups, Ability to provide capacity building and support to people with diverse backgrounds and different degrees of digital expertise, Experience in working with diversified groups in rural and peri-urban set ups, must be knowledgeable in Human Rights based approach to programming and participatory tools.
Knowledge and experience in documentation and capturing learning Planning and Budgeting skills; Capacity building skills; Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills; Community mobilization and facilitation skills; Team player; Confidence, openness, and willingness to learn; Self-driven; Ability to work in community setting.
