JOB DETAILS:
PRIDE MICROFINANCE LIMITED (MDI), (PML) the leading Microfinance Deposit-Taking Institution in Uganda with 34 networked branches and 10 Contact Offices countrywide and an equal opportunity employer, invites applications from interested individuals to fill the following vacant positions.

ICT Security Supervisor
The ICT Security Supervisor reports to the Head of ICT and is responsible for developing and implementing ICT security of networks, servers and applications that is in line with Pride's ICT policy and respond to security events and alerts to ensure the stable operations of the organization's IT system.

Specific responsibilities include:
1. Ensure implementation of periodic revision of IT security strategy, policies and standards as per the business requirements.
• Provide an up-to-date report on IT security system.
• Review ICT Security strategy as per the business needs and changes.
• Ensure that users comply with the IT security system.
• Review IT security strategy and recommend updates

2. Ensure the security and safety of corporate databases and IT infrastructure against viruses, hackers and intruders. Make certain that the integrity of the database and IT infrastructure is maintained at all times.

3. Develop, maintain, review and regularly update ICT Policies.
• Review the current ICT policies as per changes in the security standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Review the current ICT policies as per changes in the Business requirements.
• Oversee the regular update and maintenance of the registers of physical access to the bank server rooms at all times, showing the times and dates staff and non-staff enter and leave the server rooms.
• Provide independent assurance on the current ICT policies as per changes in the security standards, guidelines and procedures.

4. Supervise the selection, acquisition and maintenance of current, cost effective and appropriate security technology products for network, systems and data.

5. Plan, design and carry out testing of the disaster recovery plan (DRP).

6. Participate in the selection, acquisition and maintenance of current, cost effective and appropriate security technology products for network, systems and data.

7. Plan, design and carry out testing of the disaster recovery plan (DRP).

8. Set up and maintain security measures within the Organization, including regularly reviewing all Pride systems users in compliance with the IT.

9. Monitor and manage an end point/host security system on all Pride Computers.

10. Be up to date with emerging security trends, risks, new guidelines or standards (internal and external) and security enhancing technologies.

Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science/IT or any other relevant/related field.
• Professional IT security certifications such as CISSP/GIAC/SSCP/CISA.
• Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCNP & Certified Ethical Hacker are added advantage.
• At least 3 years' experience in a related environment.
