JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Cook to join their production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for a large workforce in a fast-paced factory environment. This role requires experience in large-scale food preparation, adherence to strict food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
• Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook meals in line with established recipes and production schedules to meet staff meal demands.
• Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies, maintaining high hygiene standards at all times.
• Kitchen Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial kitchen equipment, including ovens, cookers, and other food preparation appliances.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing utensils, cleaning workstations, and disposing of waste properly.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels, report shortages, and assist in stock replenishment to ensure smooth meal production.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff and production teams to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on food items before service to ensure they meet the company’s standards for taste, presentation, and portioning.

Job Requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Institutional Catering, or Food Production
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in large-scale food production, industrial catering, or a similar role.
• Food Safety Certification: Possession of a valid food safety certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy kitchen supplies, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and maintain consistency in meal quality.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth food preparation and distribution.
