Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Manager located in Kampala. The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the delivery of IT solutions and services to the organization. The role will involve overseeing the management, development, and operation of information systems and technology infrastructure in line with the company's strategic objectives. The IT Manager will also manage the organization's IT personnel, ensuring that they are motivated, productive, and efficient.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years managerial experience. Should not exceed 10 years.
• Should have worked/is working in the banking industry.
• Based in Uganda.
• Strong technical expertise in IT management, including experience with system development methodologies, server platforms, networking, cybersecurity, data management, and other IT infrastructure-related tasks
• Good understanding of business processes and experience in aligning IT strategy to business goals
• Experience managing a team of IT professionals, delegating tasks, and improving IT staff performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Relevant professional certification, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL, is an added advantage
