The AIDS Support Organization (TASO Uganda), was founded to contribute to the process of preventing HIV infection, restoring hope and improving the quality of Life of persons, families and communities affected by HIV infection and disease, TASO requires the services of dedicated, competent, innovative and result: oriented persons for employment on a contract basis tor the posts below;

Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Grants Management Unity
Reports to: Senior Internal Auditor
Supervisor: None

Main Purpose of the Job
The Internal Auditor is primarily responsible to assess the effectiveness and sustainability of internal control systems; identity, assess and recommend risk mitigation measures; and ensure effective follow-up mechanism of the audit and assurance plans.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: Internal Auditor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Academic Qualifications Honors Bachelors degree in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized University plus second_ level! stage of Professional qualifications in Accounting or auditing from a recognized institution.

Minimum Experience and Exposure
3 years of Audit experience or in reputable Organization

- Donor accountability requirements

- Report writing skills
- Communication skills
