Interaid Uganda Limited (IAU) is a nongovernmental humanitarian national organization established in 1988, and duly registered with the N60 Board and NGO Forum. lAU is involved in programs geared towards the protection and improvement of lives of disadvantaged people living in urban and rural areas in Uganda in the Great Lakes Region. lnteraid Uganda is focused on its thematic areas of Rights Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Health (HlV&AlDS; Malaria; Maternal and Reproductive Health), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Environment and Disaster Management and good Management and Governance systems. |nteraid is inviting potential and interested candidates to fill the following positions.

JOB TITLE: Internal Auditor
NO OF POSTS: 1
REPORTS TO: Board Chairman
DUTY STATION: Kampala Head Office

Role Summary
The Internal Auditor will primarily be responsible for conducting regular checks, review and detailed analysis of the implementation of policies and procedures throughout the organization, develop and implement audit plans and submit audit reports on a regular basis.

Person Specification

• Suitable candidate for the position of Internal Auditor, should poses a university degrees in Commerce, Business Administration, Science in Accounting with accounting option or any other related qualification.
• Professional certification with A (; CAorCPAU.
• A minimum of Seven years relevant work experience in the same role.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written communication’
• Good computer skills,
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good knowledge and skills in accounting
•  Investigative skills
• High level of integrity
