JOB DETAILS:
Internal Auditor (1)
Location: Head Office - Rushere
Level: Managerial.

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for
• Heading the internal audit department so as to maintain an efficient and effective internal audit unit.
• Preparing annual and quarterly work plans for the internal audit unit to ensure optimal deployment of resources to priority audit areas.
• Preparing internal audit monthly reports for submission to the Audit committee giving a copy to the General Manager.
• Preparing internal audit quarterly reports for submission to the Board within one month at the end of each quarter.
• Reviewing the financial and accounting systems in each branch and establishment of the SACCO to ensure that they are adequate, effective and conform to financial regulations of Rushere SACCO.
• Evaluating internal operations and controls (policies and procedures) at least once a month and make accounting and procedural recommendations regarding such internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors.

Requirements:
• The suitable candidate should possess a minimum of Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, B.COM/Economics majoring in Accounting or Auditing.
• Possess four years' experience in Microfinance operations two of which are in a related field.
• A post graduate diploma in Financial Management will be an added advantage.
• Should have CPA or ACCA qualification.
• At least a credit in English & Math at 0-level.
• Must be aged 28years and above.
