INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF GOODS, SUPPLIES, SERVICES, AND WORKS FOR THE YEAR 2025-2027

The Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council (UMDPC) is a statutory body established under the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act, Cap 272, to regulate the conduct of medical and dental practitioners in Uganda. The Council invites applications from competent firms/companies for prequalification for the provision of goods, supplies, services, and works for the financial years 2025-2027.

CATEGORY A: SUPPLIES

1. Supply of General Office Stationery
2. Supply of Toners and Cartridges
3. Supply of ICT Equipment (Computers, Printers, Scanners, etc.)
4. Supply of Office Furniture and Fittings
5. Supply of Medical Equipment and Consumables
6. Supply of Branded Promotional Materials (T-shirts, Caps, Pens, etc.)
7. Supply of Motor Vehicle Spare Parts and Accessories
8. Supply of Fuel and Lubricants

CATEGORY B: SERVICES

1. Provision of Printing and Photocopying Services
2. Provision of Catering Services
3. Provision of Hotel, Conference, and Accommodation Services
4. Provision of Air Ticketing and Travel Agency Services
5. Provision of Insurance Services (Motor Vehicles, Assets, etc.)
6. Provision of Security Services
7. Provision of Cleaning and Fumigation Services
8. Provision of ICT Support and Maintenance Services
9. Provision of Legal Services
10. Provision of Audit Services
11. Provision of Advertising and Media Services
12. Provision of Consultancy Services (Training, Research, etc.)
13. Provision of Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Services
14. Provision of Courier and Delivery Services

CATEGORY C: WORKS

1. Construction and Renovation of Buildings
2. Electrical Installation and Maintenance Works
3. Plumbing and Water System Installation Works
4. Road Construction and Maintenance Works

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. A copy of the Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.
2. A copy of a Valid Trading License for 2025.
3. A copy of a Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
4. A copy of the VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable).
5. Evidence of registration with the relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
6. A copy of the Company Profile.
7. Evidence of past experience in similar assignments (at least 3 contracts in the last 3 years).
8. A bid security of UGX 2,000,000 (Two Million Uganda Shillings only) for each category applied for.
9. Audited financial statements for the last 2 years.
10. A copy of the National ID or Passport of the company directors.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

• Prequalification documents can be obtained from the UMDPC offices at the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings only).
• Applications should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Prequalification for [Category Name]” and addressed to:

  P.O. Box 16115, Kampala, Uganda
  Location: Plot 442, Kafeero Zone Road, Mulago Hill, Kampala
• Applications must be delivered to the above address not later than 30th April 2025, at 5:00 pm East African Time.
• Late applications will not be accepted.

NOTE:

• UMDPC reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving reasons.
• Only prequalified firms will be invited to bid for specific contracts.
• Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
