Job Role:
Assist in the implementation of the SBCC strategy in the Project (s) including interpersonal communication and other community engagement interventions

Duties and Responsibilities
• In liaison with the SBCC Manager, support development and oversee the dissemination of SBCC messages and activities development in accordance with the SBCC project strategy, to increase access to family planning emphasizing the importance of gender-based norms and promoting the concept of rights-based informed choice.
• With guidance from the supervisor, liaise with Cluster teams to Map, plan, align, execute and report on all community engagement and social mobilization activities including below the line activations in all clusters.
• Identify and work with the SBCC project partners with guidance from Project SBCC Manager to develop messages based on the results of formative research to impact the target population.
• Monitor SBCC interventions implemented by project staff and partners, on a daily basis.
• Execute the project’s communication campaigns, i.e. Above-The-Line communication, Community Interpersonal communication, and Social Media Communication campaigns.
• Implement the best local and international practices in, reproductive health and family planning, as well as the strengthening of positive gender norms;
• Maintain strategic relationships with different District Local Governments and Key implementing partners to ensure interventions are effectively and efficiently implemented in the targeted districts.
• Assist in project case studies, documenting experiences, develop success stories and lessons learnt, prepare report and articles.
• Liaise with the Procurement team to ensure development and timely procurement of IEC materials.
• Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports on the project’s communication activities.
• Perform other professional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or in Mass Communication, Health Education, Public Health, or other related degree.
• Certificate in Advocacy, Behavioural Change Communication (BCC), or Information Education and Communication (IEC) added advantage

Details of experience
• Minimum of 3 years of programmatic experience in SRH/FP and a minimum of 3 years of experience in public health communication programs.
• Experience in working with district and community SBCC intervention programs.
• Experience in the development and implementation of SBCC activities including the use of mass media, social media, interpersonal communication, advocacy and social mobilization.
• Hands-on experience in the development of SBCC strategies, of messages and materials specific to the context of Uganda to fight against gender inequalities and social norms.
• Demonstrable results in previous work environment should reinforce claims to this experience.

Job Role:
Provide high-quality Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) services to all clients according to Ministry of Health (MOH) and RHU guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities
• Inform, educate, and communicate with clients, to motivate and enable them make informed SRHR choices
• Maintain quality standards established for a health service delivery facility
• Provide quality integrated SRHR services to clients at all delivery points as per RHU’s SRHR service package and support the effective delivery of integrated SRHR outreach services in target communities.
• Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with MoH guidelines.
• Maintain and ensure rational use of supplies and other commodities in the facility.
• Work with team supervisor and other staff to indicate the needs in medical equipment and drugs
• Refer clients as appropriate, to defined referral point(s)
• Document all aspects of client care, ensure confidentiality and maintain accurate and complete client records according to RHU/MOH guidelines
• Analyse and utilize data to improve service delivery at health facilities
• Provide other basic general clinical services, including minor surgical procedures, in accordance with established guidelines/standards.
• Perform any other professional duty as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, Diploma in Midwifery/ Comprehensive Nursing from a recognized institution.
A valid Practicing License from an appropriate professional body.

• Three years of experience in providing integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health services.

Job Role:
Maintain records and reports about motor vehicle movement including fuel consumption, mileage, and journeys details

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide management with monthly reports on vehicle status & usage, fuel issued, servicing, etc.
• Responsible for fleet operation tracking and reporting, including the creation of performance, efficiency, vehicle/equipment maintenance and reports.
• Make sure all drivers adhere to RHU’s logistical SOP’s and other regulations
• Ensure that all drivers understand and procure the licenses and permits they need to legally carry loads to work destinations
• Find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance
• Ensure that all load paperwork associated with each run is accurate and submitted to the proper people
• Maintain electronic databases of sales, registration, inspections, and maintenance of fleet management.
• Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting, and surveying current user trends.
• Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local rules and regulations.
• Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system
• Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices.
• Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage the entire fleet to achieve RHU’s objectives.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are carried out as per the schedule and monitor post-repair performance.
• Conduct analysis of vehicle status and make recommendations for timely replacement, including the type of vehicles, spares, etc. in order to improve cost-efficiency
• Regularly review and update vehicle fleet-related policies at least once a year.
• Perform any other professional duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management or equivalent

Details of experience
Previous NGO experience of not less than 2 years in the transport field.

Responsibilities
Job Role:

Responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of the specified project(s) in RHU, ensuring timely and accurate submission of qualitative and quantitative data and adherence to Project (s) protocol, standards, and timelines

Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in formulating a Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation system that stimulates learning and measurement of progress on the project.
• Consolidate and analyze Association service statistics and advise about adherence to project focus.
• Package RHU project(s) outputs and periodically share them with RHU management, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the production, dissemination, and utilization of evidence-based project research results.
• Contribute to research planning and budgeting process, including the development of concept papers and proposals.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluating project performance including routine analysis of field or partner reports and aggregating them into one dataset for sharing with management and relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in the project(s) planning and budgeting and production of periodic reports.
• Take lead in Project processes to develop new initiatives/ technologies in M&E ensuring project design builds on experience.

Qualifications
Degree in Statistics or Computer Science.

Details of experience
• Experience in social research, database design, and maintenance for at least three years.
• Individuals with previous NGO experience will have added advantage.
• Conversant with computer packages, such as SPSS, Epinfo, Stata, SAS etc, and with experience in qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis and dissemination.
