Position Reporting to: Quality Manager
Job Purpose/Summary: Quality Supervisor coordinates quality control team, fumigation activities and makes sure products meet quality and safety standards. Should be able to decrease return costs and improve customer satisfaction. Quality supervisor should train staff, handle work schedules, assign tasks, update defects databases, and separate defect items. Quality Supervisor should demonstrate supervisory skills, attention to details, organization, teamwork, and time management.
Responsibilities: • To oversee quality management system to ensure all products and services are produced correctly and adequately meet customers' needs.
• Perform comparison tests (where possible) in the Processes line and ensure that the results for cut rag always meet the requirements and within the limits set so as to assure the quality or results delivered to customers.
• Responding and Registering all customer feedbacks and complaints on time in full, to ensure corrective and/or preventive actions formulated and implemented, and deliver feedback to customers on actions taken.
• Keep all the needed records of activities performed in the QA Office from their original data to the final records as required by the Quality management system.
• Identify and follow all the required safety procedures in the factory including use, storage and disposal of hazardous chemicals to prevent injuries to personnel as well as prevent damage to equipment, facilities and to safeguard the environment.
• To implement cleanliness and good housekeeping during and especially after fumigation, and to dispose the material in a correct environmental manner Updating and maintenance of infestation control records as well as availing of reports on the same to assist in the decision-making on the same.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum level of education is a Degree in Chemistry or Agriculture
• Minimum experience of 2 years in Manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Age should be below 35 years. Strong Analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent, should be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge in ISO.
• Knowledge in fumigation.
Position: Electrical Supervisor (01 position) Department: Electrical Department
Location: Arua, Uganda

Position Reporting to: Electrical Engineer
Job Purpose/Summary: The Electrical supervisor, reporting to the Electrical Engineer directs and coordinates a variety of installation, repair, and maintenance tasks performed by line Electrical technicians, Trades Helpers, Laborers, and/or other trades personnel. The employee is required to work from blueprints and schematics; plan and layout own work assignments and the work of others.
Responsibilities: • Selects and deploys subordinates across all sections of the production lines thus ensure equal on-the job exposure as well as evaluating and verifying employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Performs on the job training and coaches subordinates.
• Escalates/forward training needs requirements to the chief electrical engineer, maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondences relative to the work as well as making requisitions for purchases supplies, materials, and tools.
• Inspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely; determines whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code.
• Inspects buildings in order to determine electrical maintenance needs by visual observation, gauges, meters, and other test equipment.
• Studies blueprints and schematics in order to plan the material and labor needed to accomplish tasks and provides oversight of communication and network operations including testing, installation, and maintenance.
• May occasionally perform any task assigned to subordinate staff, and ensure maximum availability and reliability of products and services plant equipment.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Knowledge, Skill and Ability: • Considerable knowledge of complex electrical control devices.
• Considerable knowledge of complex electrical generating equipment.
• High level of understanding and interpretation of auto CAD drawings.
• Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of electricity
• Considerable knowledge of the electrical codes.
• Considerable knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programming, installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work under pressure and to carry out fix equipment breakdowns within the shortest time possible in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to design systems and work from sketches, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ability to make mathematical computations,
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing,
Education and Formal Training: • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or its Equivalent.
Experience: • At least 3 years' experiences within manufacturing industry required.
• Leadership and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of PLC programming is required.
Position: Laboratory Technician (02 Positions) Department: Quality Section
Location: Arua, Uganda

Position Reporting to: Quality Supervisor
Job Purpose/Summary: The Laboratory Technician will be responsible in daily analysis of samples. He/She will analyze and collate data, which will be used to advice the organization for any Nonconformities and corrective action. He/She will be responsible in updating reports and other related documents. The Laboratory Technician should have the ability to understand Laboratory procedures, Work Instructions, Use of equipment, interpret results, and give timely feedback with an aim of improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
• Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.)
• Organizing and storing all chemical substances, reagents, according to safety instructions.
• Analyzing trends for improvements and corrective action.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment as per standard operating procedure.
• Ordering laboratory supplies, stock management monitoring as needed to ensure
• Chemicals or reagents do not run out of stock.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum level of education is a Diploma in any Chemistry field.
• Minimum experience is 2 years in Chemistry Laboratory
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• The applicant should be Ugandan National aged below 32 years.
• Strong Analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to work with minimum supervision.
