Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with key clients, connecting with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services in alignment with client needs. The KAM will act as a primary point of contact between the company and its strategic customers and will work closely with internal teams to enhance client satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and ensure client retention.

Key Responsibilities
A Key Account Manager at Tripesa drives tourism and hospitality sector growth through these key areas:
• Client Management
As the primary contact for key tourism and hospitality accounts, you'll handle regular client communication, conduct quarterly business reviews, manage client onboarding, and provide training on Tripesa's platforms. This involves proactive issue resolution and ongoing support to maintain high client satisfaction.
• Revenue & Growth
Your focus will be meeting revenue targets through strategic upselling and cross-selling, while working with the finance team on revenue forecasting. You'll drive expansion of client product usage across tourism platforms, payment APIs, and channel managers, while developing strategies for entering new Uganda tourism hubs.
• Strategic & Technical
This role involves creating and executing 1-3 year client account plans, leading discussions on payment API and system integrations, collaborating with tech teams on custom client solutions, and staying current with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain market advantage.
• Cross-functional Leadership
You'll work closely with product teams on new features, coordinate with marketing on go-to-market plans, spearhead UI and onboarding improvements, and present performance metrics to leadership. This requires strong ability to influence and align multiple departments toward common goals.
• Performance & Analytics
Success in this role requires careful tracking of client retention, revenue growth, and conversion rates. You'll leverage CRM data to optimize client strategies, manage relationship risks, and measure product adoption rates to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on account management, requiring both business acumen and technical understanding of tourism technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between high-level strategy and day-to-day client support while driving growth in Uganda's tourism sector.

Key Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role managing strategic clients.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.
