JOB DETAILS:
A reputable school along Gayaza Road, is looking to fill the following position

Kinder Garten Teacher-Job Details
• Full time work Monday-Friday
• Teach all areas of the early learning center curriculum
• Take responsibility for the progress of a class of nursery school-age students.
• Organize the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class, Motivate students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations.
• Maintain discipline in a gracious way: Prepare and mark work to facilitate positive pupil development.
• Meet requirements for assessment and recording of pupils’ development
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians on students’ progress at parent-teacher conferences
• Work with other staff to plan coordinate work
• Keep up to dated with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Organize and take part in school events, outings and activities which may take place in the evening or on weekends.
• Meet with other professionals such as education welfare officers and educational psychologists, if required, for the assessment and welfare of the pupils.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Competence And Expertise Requirements
The Kindergarten teacher must possess an O’ Level Certificate with good credits in Mathematics and English, with an additional certificate in Early Childhood Education or ACE Training Certificate as well as the following professional and personal competencies
• A practicing Christian
• ECD certificate(minimum qualification)
• 2 years teaching experience
• BA Arts in education( Fine art) added advantage
• Interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• Creativity; Integrity; Self-Motivation
• The ability to be a team player
• Good IT skills
• Analytical ability

Remuneration
• Salary range 450,000 UGX- 500,000 UGX
• Lunch and breakfast provided
• Good working environment, small and manageable classes
